Tillicum Lelum Aboriginal Friendship Centre is a non-profit organization that has served the Nanaimo community for more than 50 years. The Centre provides health, education, cultural, counselling, justice and social service programs to support individuals and families throughout the community.

This year, Tillicum Lelum is again raising funds for its Christmas Hamper Program. Community members can help by sponsoring a hamper for a local family, donating cash or gift cards, or contributing items to the auction. Suggested auction donations include gift baskets, gift certificates, event tickets and other suitable items.

The Christmas Hamper Breakfast Fundraiser and Live and Silent Auction will be held on Friday, November 20th at the Childcare Centre, located at 475 Tenth Street.

Tickets are $50 each, with a maximum of 40 tickets available.

There are also many other ways to support Tillicum Lelum throughout the year. Opportunities include sponsoring a child for Christmas for $100, sponsoring a family for Christmas, or contributing to the Recreation Centre Campaign, Childcare Centre Campaign, Sweat Lodge, Youth Safe House or Elders Program.
