Salish Lelum Affordable Housing Project

Salish Lelum Youth & Elder Housing opened its doors in May 2011. We offers a unique approach to community living whereby youth and elders live together - learning from and helping each other.

We have 18 units: 10 bachelor units for youth and 8 one bedroom units for elders. All units come equipped with a fridge, stovetop and microwave. Shared laundry facilities are available to tenants at no cost. The building also has a large living room and a common eating area for tenants.

Affordable Housing for Aboriginal Persons. Youth ages 18-24 must be working full time or attending school to apply for housing. Elders 55 and over must be able to live on their own with very little outside assistance.
